CNC Router & Laser Machine for 3D Puzzle Dollhouse Making

Both the laser engraving cutting machine and the CNC router are controlled by a computer numerical control system for 3D wood puzzle dollhouse making. First need to design the cut file, then open the file through the software, start the CNC programming, after the control system receives the control command, the machine starts to work.

A laser machine is a device that uses the thermal energy of a laser to cut materials. The laser is emitted by the laser generator and focused into a laser beam with high power density through the optical path system. The light from the laser beam can cause chemical and physical changes in the wood, or the light can burn away parts of the wood to reveal patterns and text that need to be etched.

CNC routers rely on a high-speed rotating engraving head driven by an electric spindle. Through the tool configured according to the wood, the wood fixed on the table can be cut, and various plane or 3-dimensional patterns designed by the computer can be cut.

The structure of CNC router machine is relatively simple. It is controlled by a computer numerical control system, which enables the engraving machine to automatically select the appropriate bit to cut on the X, Y, and Z axes of the machine. In addition, the tool of the laser machine is a complete set of optical components. The tools of CNC router are various solid bits.

The diameter of the laser beam is only 0.01mm. The laser beam enables smooth and bright engraving and cutting in narrow and delicate areas. But the CNC tool can't help either, because the diameter of the CNC tool is 20 times larger than the laser beam, so the machining accuracy of the CNC router is not as good as that of the laser cutting engraving machine.
